Some sites download ebooks for free and legally

For those of you who like to read, here I'll show you some sites where you can get ebooks that you can download and read for free, and of course it is legal.

Open Library

is a project of the Internet Archive, a non-profit organization who aim to have a web page for every book ever published. The Open Library is an open project. Data and documents as well as free software, which you can download in different formats, or borrow it from the library with your virtual card.

Project Gutenberg

is one of the largest collections of electronic books in the world , founded by Michael Hart in 1971, known as the first source of ebooks. The books on this site is in the public domain in the United States, and to date more than 42,000 ebooks available in a variety of formats and can be downloaded for free, or read online.

ebooksgo

is a free site, free books, all under the GFDL license, Creative Commons, licenses such as the Gutenberg project, and anyone is free for distribution. The books are organized by category and download link next to a particular type of license.

ManyBooks

is a site that contains a large collection of free electronic books, many from the collection of Project Gutenberg, and others from the human genome project.

Amazon

has a section with all the books in the public domain that you can download directly to the Kindle, with over 1700 titles.

Freebook Sifter

is a search engine that allows you to easily search for all the free books available on Amazon, filtered by language, category, and even user reviews rankings. Much more convenient to search as above.
